This Privacy Policy explains how CareFlow collects, uses, and protects information when you use the CNA study and simulation platform. CareFlow is an educational product and is not intended for clinical documentation, patient care, or storage of protected health information.
Do not submit real patient information, protected health information, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, passwords, or other sensitive personal information into practice prompts, quiz answers, or skills simulations.
CareFlow may use third-party services for authentication, hosting, databases, analytics, retrieval, AI generation, and AI evaluation. Depending on the feature, user content may be processed by services such as Google authentication, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, vector search providers, or database providers. CareFlow sends information to providers as needed to operate the service.
Skills evaluation runs server-side behind authenticated, rate-limited API routes. Other written or retrieval features may use external services.
CareFlow uses essential cookies for login, session security, and remembering application settings. These are always on, because the service cannot work without them.
CareFlow also uses two categories of non-essential storage, and neither is used unless you allow it:
We ask before using either of these, the default is to use neither, and you can change your answer at any time. Declining does not limit any study feature.
CareFlow may show ads to free accounts, including ads you can choose to watch in exchange for an extra practice attempt. Paid subscribers are never shown ads.
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate CareFlow, when you direct us to share it, to comply with law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer. Where you have allowed ads, an advertising provider receives what it needs to serve and measure a non-personalized ad. It does not receive your study activity, your scores, or your practice content.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide CareFlow, maintain records, improve the service, comply with law, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your account information where required by applicable law. You can also stop using the service or revoke Google account access through your Google account settings.
You can change your analytics and advertising choices at any time, and withdrawing a choice takes effect immediately: the identifier it created is removed from your browser, and no further ads are requested. We keep a record of the choices you have made so we can prove which one we are honoring.
CareFlow is intended for CNA learners and is not directed to children under 13. Do not use CareFlow if you are under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete that account and its data. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, tell us through the contact page and we will remove it.
CNA programs do enroll high-school students, so CareFlow asks during setup whether you are 18 or older. We use that answer to decide how advertising is handled, and to stop anyone who has told us they are under 18 from buying a paid plan. Learners under 18, and learners whose age we do not know, are not shown ads by default.
