These Terms govern your use of CareFlow. By using CareFlow, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the AI Disclosure, and — if you buy a paid plan — the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use CareFlow.
CareFlow is a CNA study and practice simulator. It is not a medical device, clinical decision support system, official certification program, school, employer, state nurse aide registry, or testing provider. CareFlow does not guarantee exam eligibility, certification, employment, clinical competency, or exam results.
CareFlow content is for educational practice only and is not medical, nursing, legal, employment, or certification advice. Always follow your instructor, employer, state requirements, facility policies, and official exam materials.
CareFlow uses AI-supported tools. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You are responsible for checking important information before relying on it. Do not use CareFlow output for live patient care or emergency situations.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account is being misused, creates risk, violates these Terms, or is required to be restricted by law or service provider requirements.
CareFlow has a free plan and paid subscription plans. The free plan does not require payment. Paid plans are billed in advance for a recurring term — monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose — in U.S. dollars. The plans available, what each one includes, and the current price of each are shown on the pricing page, and the price you are charged is the one shown at checkout.
By completing checkout you authorize us, through our payment processor, to charge your payment method for the plan you selected and for each renewal until you cancel. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to use the payment method you enter. A paid plan covers one personal account and is not transferable or shareable.
One account can hold only one subscription at a time. To move between plans, change your plan in the billing portal rather than buying a second subscription; the change is prorated automatically.
The skills simulator has a daily limit: one session per day on the free plan, and up to 25 sessions per day on Premium. Written practice and practice exams are unlimited on every plan. The daily count resets at midnight UTC, and the sessions you have left are shown in the app.
Paid CareFlow plans renew automatically.
Unless you cancel first, your subscription renews at the end of each term — every month for a monthly plan, every 3 months for a quarterly plan, every year for a yearly plan — and your payment method is charged the then-current price for that plan automatically. Renewals continue until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, for any reason, from Manage billing in your settings, and cancelling before the end of the current term stops the next charge.
Before a subscription renews, we email the address on your account about the upcoming charge, roughly 30 days ahead. That email includes a link for managing or cancelling the subscription.
CareFlow does not currently offer free trials. We do sometimes issue promotional codes. When a discounted price applies for a limited period, we will say plainly at checkout what the discount is, when it ends, and what price you will be charged when it converts to the regular rate.
Full details on cancelling, and on when it takes effect, are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
We may change our prices, and we may change what a plan includes — including the daily limit on skills-simulator sessions.
If a change would raise the price of a subscription you already have, or would reduce what your current plan includes — a lower daily session limit, or a feature removed — we will email the address on your account at least 30 days before it takes effect. The notice will say exactly what is changing, what the new price or limit is, and the date it starts. An existing subscription keeps the price you signed up at until you change plans yourself.
If you do not want the change, cancel before it takes effect and you will not be charged again. Continuing the subscription after that date means you accept it. Increases to what a plan includes take effect immediately and need no notice.
Prices are shown excluding tax. You are responsible for any sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes on your purchase, other than taxes on our income. Where we are required to collect tax, it is calculated at checkout based on the billing information you provide and added to the amount you are charged.
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from Manage billing, which opens your billing portal. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not end your current term early. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then your account returns to the free plan. You can resume from the billing portal before that date if you change your mind.
We may also cancel or suspend a paid plan ourselves, as described under Account Access and below. If we end a paid plan for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused portion of that term.
Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are refunded according to the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these Terms. In short: we refund a first charge on a plan within 14 days, an unused accidental renewal within 7 days, and any charge we made in error. We do not otherwise refund periods that have already been used, and cancelling partway through a term leaves your access on for the rest of it instead of refunding the unused days. Read the policy for the full terms, including how to ask for a refund and how long it takes.
Payments are processed by Stripe, an independent payment processor, not by CareFlow. You enter your card details on Stripe's checkout and manage your payment method in Stripe's billing portal, and your use of those is subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.
CareFlow never receives or stores your full card number or security code. We keep only what we need to run your subscription: an identifier for your billing record, the plan you are on, its status, and when the current period ends. If a payment is declined, flagged, or reversed by Stripe, your bank, or your card network, we may be unable to provide paid features until it is resolved.
If a renewal payment fails, we do not cut off your paid features immediately. They stay on while the payment is automatically retried, and we ask you to update your payment method in the billing portal. If the payment still has not succeeded once those retries are finished, the subscription is cancelled and your account returns to the free plan.
We do not charge late fees and we do not send unpaid subscription balances to collections — a failed subscription payment simply ends the paid plan. We may suspend or terminate paid access for chargebacks, fraudulent or reversed payments, or repeated abuse of refunds.
Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account or your study data. Your quizzes, scores, progress, and settings stay on your account, which continues on the free plan, and your paid features come back if you subscribe again later. Features that are part of a paid plan stop working when the paid period ends.
Deleting your account is a separate request. You can ask us to delete your account data through the contact page; how we handle that, and what we keep for legal and record-keeping reasons such as payment and tax records, is described in the Privacy Policy.
CareFlow and its software, design, branding, study flows, and generated platform content are owned by CareFlow or its licensors. You keep ownership of content you submit, but you grant CareFlow permission to use it to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
CareFlow may rely on third-party services for authentication, hosting, databases, retrieval, and AI processing. Those services may have their own terms and policies.
CareFlow is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareFlow disclaims warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.
Nothing in this section or the next takes away rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived, and nothing in them affects the refunds described above or in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareFlow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses related to exam results, certification status, employment, clinical use, data loss, or service interruption.
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to CareFlow is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars. Some states do not allow these limits; where that is so, this limit applies only as far as the law permits.
We may update these Terms. When we make a material change, we will ask you to accept the updated Terms the next time you use CareFlow, and we record that acceptance. For minor changes we update the date at the top of this page.
You agree to receive notices about your account and your subscription by email at the address on your account, and to keep that address current. Where these Terms promise advance notice — a price increase, a reduction in what your plan includes, or an upcoming renewal — email to that address is how we give it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally may be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and CareFlow consent to those courts.
None of that deprives you of the protection of the consumer laws of the state where you live, or of your right to bring a claim in small-claims court in your own county.
Before filing anything, please contact us and give us 60 days to resolve the problem. Most disputes about a subscription are a refund question and we would rather just handle it.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest of these Terms stay in force. These Terms, together with the Refund & Cancellation Policy, the Privacy Policy, and the AI Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and CareFlow about CareFlow. You may not transfer your account or your rights under these Terms to someone else.
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the contact page.
